Regional Mobility Authority (ATM)
The Regional Mobility Authority (ATM) for the Area of Lleida is a voluntary inter-administrative consortium that was set up to coordinate the public transport system in the Segrià Region.
The ATM has implemented the new integrated fare system that enables all users to use the different means of transport with a single card and make significant savings. Thus, it enables them to travel, change lines and means of transport within a certain time limit at a flat fare rate.
Students will soon be able to purchase this type of transport card using their university ID cards.
The UdL’s announcement to provide bicycles to students aims to promote the bicycle as an efficient, fast, cheap, convenient, fun and healthy means of transport among the UdL student community and to provide a sustainable means of transport in the city. Thus, students are given a bicycle to use around town throughout the academic year, with rights to certain repairs. They also receive a safety kit, consisting of a helmet, a reflecting vest and a bicycle lock.
