Accessibility
Download pdfThe UdL website is designed to facilitate worldwide access. It is adapted to the recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), thus eradicating all obstacles that prevent any individual from accessing information and communicating.
The UdL website uses the OpenCms content management system. The templates created are accessible at AAA level. However, we are unable to guarantee that the content of the pages created by the editors at the UdL can be accessed at this level. This is due to the fact that the editor used by the management system — FCKEditor — does not generate a totally accessible code.
Accessibility guidelines followed by this website:
- A standard HTLM code is used.
- The content is formatted using CSS without tables.
- The font size can be modified using the browser tools.
- Alternative description of the images and Flash contents have been added.
- Visualisation has been verified using several browsers.
- Sections are accessible through tab keys.
- The main menu is accessible by combining the Alt key + the letter underlined in the menu.
- Access to page content is direct (Alt + 1).
- Iframes have alternative content.
